Jeffery Cotton
December 05, 1962 - May 30, 2018



Mr. Jeffery Cotton, age 55, passed away at St. Martin Hospital, Wednesday, May 30, 2018, in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana. Jeffery was born to the union of the late Robert Cotton and late Zelma Miller Cotton and was the fourth of five children.
Jeffery Attended the Washington Parish School System and graduated from Franklinton High in 1980 and went into the United States Army on February 05, 1980.
He received numerous medals and decorations but specialized as a Heavy Anti Armor Weapons Crewman. He was honorably discharged on February 04, 1986 from the United States Army Reserve.
Jeffery worked in numerous job fields where he made numerous friends and co-workers; but left Franklinton to attend truck driving school. Truck driving was his passion until becoming disabled in the year 2000.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife of 35 years, Vicki Partman Cotton, of Franklinton, LA; six children: Jeffery Cotton, Jr. of Franklinton, LA, Danielle Cotton of Hammond, LA, Darius Cotton of Savannah, GA, Brianna Cotton, Tianna Cotton and DeAnte’ Cotton all of Franklinton, LA; one grandson; Aiden Charles Carter Sims of Hammond, LA; two sisters, Gwendolyn (Kendall) Bickham of Franklinton, LA and Carolyn (Wayne) Jones of Cataula, GA; two brothers; Carlton (Angela) Cotton of Las Vegas, NA, and Gregory (Tracy) Cotton of Tacoma, WA. He also leaves to cherish his memories: numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Visitation is set for Wednesday, June 6, 2018 from 2 pm to 6 pm at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton. A Graveside Service will be Thursday, June 7, 2018 at 10 aam at Bethel Church of Christ Holiness in Franklinton.
