Obituary

Kenneth Watson
December 8, 1963 - June 25, 2018



Kenneth Elwin Watson, age 54 and a resident of Mt. Hermon, died Monday June 25, 2018 at his home. He was essentially a lifelong employee of the family business Watson Refrigeration, where he installed and serviced air conditioning units throughout Washington Parish, our surrounding areas and also into Mississippi. Kenneth loved to ride the roads, often on a service call, and he knew every possible backroad anywhere. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and the outdoors. Kenneth, who had the nicknames “Watson”, “Rooster” and even “Wildcat” as a young man, always enjoyed joking and picking with his family and friends and often gave them nicknames also.
Survived by: Daughter and Son in law: Haley and Josh Seal of Varnado; 2 Sons: Kendall Watson, Cray Schilling both of Mt. Hermon; 2 Granddaughters: Heidi Seal, Hillary Seal; Also an expected grandson; Mother: Betty Sue Dillon Watson of Mt. Hermon; Sister and Brother in law: Judy and Michael Hughes of Mt. Hermon; Brother and Sister in law: Reggie and Michelle Watson of Franklinton; Nephews and Nieces: Josh Hughes, Cody and Pattyce Hughes, Brittan Watson, Allison Watson; Also numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, other family members and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Ray Watson and mother Elaine Painter Watson.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Wednesday June 27th from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and after 9:00 am on Thursday. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 am Thursday with Rev. Randall Garcia, Rev. Leon Hickman and Rev. Jerry Cox officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Hermon Pentecostal Church Cemetery.
