LUTHER MIZELL, AGE 59 and a resident of Farmerville, LA died Thursday morning May 10, 2018 at his home. He was a native of the Enon Community and a longtime resident of West Monroe, LA where he worked for Southeast Construction, Inc. He was grateful to have worked alongside his many outstanding co-workers and friends for 21 years. Luther loved deer hunting and being in the outdoors. He also liked gardening, riding his 4-wheeler and spending time at his hunting camp.
Survived by: Beloved Grandson: Memphis Scott Harrell; Sister: Shirley Mizell of Enon; Numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other family members and friends. Also co-workers Jay Coon, George Green and the entire Southeast Construction family.
He was preceded in death by his parents Frank Mizell and Ruth Fussell Mizell, brothers Paul Kenneth Mizell, Frank Edward Mizell, sisters Barbara Mizell Allred and Carrie Mizell Thomas.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home (1109 Bene Street, Franklinton, LA) on Monday May 14th from 11 am until 1 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 1 pm Monday with Rev. Chris Wheeler officiating. Burial will follow in the Mizell Cemetery near Enon.
