On May 19, 2018, following a lengthy investigation conducted by the Franklinton Police Department,Detectives arrested Clyde W. Williams (83) of Monette, Arkansas. Williams was charged with First Degree Rape and Sexual Battery.
Williams was extradited from Jonesboro, Arkansas and after booking transported to the Washington Parish Jail. Bond has been set at $635,000.00.
Due to the age of the victim, additional information is being withheld.
