Elois Corkern Watson
September 26, 1928 - April 21, 2018
ELOIS CORKERN WATSON, a native of Franklinton and a resident of Baton Rouge, died early Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Sunrise Senior Living Center on Siegen Lane in Baton Rouge at the age of 89. She was a former beautician in Baton Rouge for many years. She was a former member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. She was a member of Florida Baptist Church in Baton Rouge.
Survived by: Son and daughter in law: Ralph D’Wayne and Sonya Watson of Baton Rouge; Daughter: Nancy Watson of Baton Rouge; 2 Grandchildren and spouse: Michael Wayne Watson. Brittney Lenora W. and Chad Ourso; A great granddaughter expected in June of 2018.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph H. Watson, her parents Clarence C. and Nancy Penny Corkern, brother and sister in law Osburn and Ruth Corkern and brother Nathan Corkern, also her beloved pet Prissy.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home on Saturday, April 28, 2018 after 10 AM. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Gene Richards officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
