James Joseph "Jimmy D" Danos, age 75 years and of Bush, LA, passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2018.
Beloved husband of Tena Edwards Danos; Father of Keela Thibodeaux, Disia Danos, Jessica Danos and the late Tyra Danos; Stepfather of Lita Munson; Son of the late Ignace Danos and Alverda Matherene Danos.
Brother of Wayne Danos; Also survived by four grandchildren,Shannan Phillips, Kasey Thibodeaux, Misty Overby, Breeanna Muson and six great grandchildren, Evan Phillips, Jasey Thibodeaux, Nevaeh Bonck, Kerris Lirette, Laci and Casey Munson.
Mr. Danos was a Blues Musician for the past 45 years and was inducted into the West Bank Musicians Hall of Fame in 2012. He was a retired Department Manager for the Walmart store in Covington.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Services at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 1:00 P.M.
Visitation on Saturday after 11:00 A.M. until funeral time.
