Martha Wiley Warner
November 3, 1947 - March 2, 2018



Martha Wiley Warner, age 70 and a resident of Bush, Louisiana, and formerly of Ty Ty, died Friday, March 2, 2018 at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington, Louisiana.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Banks Funeral Home with interment to follow in the Story-Odom Cemetery in Warwick, GA. Rev. W.E. Fogarty and Rev. Sam Thompson will officiate.
Mrs. Warner was born on November 3, 1947 in Sylvester to the late Russell J. and Martha Thornton Busby. She had lived in Southwest Georgia all her life before moving to Bush, Louisiana. Mrs. Warner was a retired Waitress who served many people while working at Country Diner. She enjoyed cooking and feeding her family. Mrs. Warnerenjoyed gardening and working outdoors in her yard. She had several joys in life but her greatest joy was her family and she was a beloved Nana to her grandchildren. Mrs. Warner was a member of Unity Baptist Church in Tift County.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Warner of Bush, LA; son, Johnny Wiley of Louisiana; daughters, Becky Salter of Louisiana and Lisa Dozier (Ron) of Dublin, GA; sister, Linda B. Watts of Tifton; her dear special friend, Katryna Fussell of Louisiana; 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren along with a number of extended family members and friends.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Warner was preceded in death by a brother, William Russell Busby and a sister, Jettie B. Rewis.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1:00 PM until the Service Hour at Banks Funeral Home.
