Robin G. Thigpen
January 22, 1963 - March 14, 2018
Robin G. Thigpen age 55 , passed away on March 14, 2018 at her residence in Bogalusa. She was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church in Varnado La. She was also a US Army Veteran.
She is survived by her husband Jimmy Thigpen of Bogalusa La. Two sons James Michael Thigpen of Bogalusa La, and Shane Gill of Bogalusa La. One daughter Amanda Thigpen Mcfarlain of Madisonville La. Parents Robert and Grace Gill of Bogalusa La. One brother Tray Gill of Pearl River La. Sisters Lynn Taylor of Thomasville Ga., Cathy Gill of Bogalusa La, and Connie Blackburn of Biloxi Ms. Grandchildren, David Gill, Alyssa Garner, Kayne and Gracie McFarlain.
She is preceded in death by a son, Paul "PA" Garner.
Visitation will be on Friday March 16, 2018 at First Missionary Baptist Church in Varnado La. from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Visitation will continue on Saturday from 9 a.m. until time for services at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Pounds cemetery with military rites conducted by America Legion Post #24. Rev. Kelly Penton will officiate.
