Kathy Sumrall George
December 24, 1957 - February 22, 2018


Kathy Sumrall George, born in Bogalusa and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at her home in Amite at the age of 60.
She was a retired teacher with 34 years of service with the Tangipahoa Parish School System.
She is survived by her husband, Ron George; 3 sons, Brett Dagro and wife, Amy, Josh Dagro and wife, Megan, and Lee Dagro and wife, Sophie; step-son, Michael Kopenhaver and wife, Jessica; 5 grandchildren, Abby, Bryce, Easton, Dominic, and Cade Dagro; 2 step-grandchildren, Trinity and Kyler Kopenhaver; brother, Reubin Sumrall, Jr. and wife, Brenda; sister, Cindy Wilks and husband, Bill.
Preceded in death by her parents, Reubin and Marie Sumrall.
Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 9:00AM until religious services at 1:00PM on Tuesday, February 27, 2018. Services conducted by Deacon Roger Navarra. Interment Colonial Mausoleum, Independence.
