Melinda Varnado Smith

Melinda Varnado Smith, age 60 and a resident of Bogalusa, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2018 at Our Lady of the Angels Hospital in Bogalusa, LA.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Smith of Bogalusa, LA; a son, Kevin Smith (Jessica) of Bogalusa, LA; a twin sister, Metilda Varnado of Bogalusa, LA, and a sister, Lynn Cutrer of Bogalusa, LA; grandchildren, Payton Smith and McKayla Smith.
She is preceded in death by a son, Joey Lavon Smith; her parents, Carl Wallace Varnado and Rosemary Borde Varnado; and a brother, Rodney Carl Varnado.
Visitation will be held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home  on Monday, February 5, 2018 from 10:00 a. m.-2:00 P. M.  Funeral Services will begin at 2:00 P. M. with Rev. Chad Jenkins officiating. Interment will follow at Ponemah Cemetery.
