Two 19 Year Olds Booked for Spotlighting Deer

Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) and Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks (MDWFP) enforcement agents working on a joint operation cited two men for alleged night hunting violations on January 27, 2018 in Washington Parish and Walthall County. .
Agents cited Holden W. Saucier (19) of Franklinton and Paul L. Page (19) of Poplarville for hunting deer during illegal hours with artificial light, hunting deer from a public road, hunting from a moving vehicle, and possession of alcohol by a minor.
After receiving several complaints about night hunting, agents set up surveillance and observed illegal activity first off Harvey Jefferson Rd. and then off State Line Rd. in Louisiana. The two traveled in Mississippi where they were stopped.
Agents seized the vehicle, spotlight, an firearms and  booked the two into the Walthall County Jail.
