Helen Means
August 14, 1952 - January 22, 2018



HELEN MEANS, AGE 65 and a resident of Franklinton, died at 10:00 am Monday January 22, 2018 at St. Tammany Parish Hospital. She enjoyed talking on her phone to her family and friends and playing games and crossword puzzles. Helen was a hard worker throughout her life. She loved being outside, often walking her dogs, Buck, Lil’Bit, and Lolly, which were very special to her.
Survived by: 2 Sons: Freddie Mayeaux of Covington, Joshua Means of Oregon; Daughter: Krystal Means of Tylertown; Grandson: Harrison Turner; Sisters and Brothers in law: Linda and Tommy Peak of Foxworth, Susan and James Brock of Franklinton, Jean Jones of Pine; Brother and Sister in law: Paul and Sheila Gay of Thomas; Aunt: Lorraine Bracey of Kentwood; Father in law and Mother in law: James Means and Merlyn Wager Means of Clyde, CA; Sister in law and Brother in law: Katy and Ronald Crocker of Concord, CA; Also numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Brad Means, father Fred Gay, mother and step-father Emerine Jenkins Gay McNeese and Clyde McNeese.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Thursday January 25th from 5 pm until 6 pm. A memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 6 pm Thursday with Eld. Jason Skipper officiating.
