Christopher Calvin Knight
April 11, 1976 - January 24, 2018


CHRISTOPHER CALVIN KNIGHT, AGE 41 and a resident of the Stateline Community died early Wednesday morning January 24, 2018. He was a 1994 graduate of Pine High School. Christopher was the former owner/operator of C K Quality Stucco and was currently employed with R K Wallace construction. He loved fishing in ponds and creeks and enjoyed running trot lines on the river. Christopher also enjoyed hunting and collecting different types of antiques and relics. He always loved spending time with his children.
Survived by: Son: Bryson Christopher Knight of Stateline; Daughter: Alaina Faith Barber of Pine; Step-father: Michael Corroa of Stateline; Aunts and Uncles: Kathy Knight Stover and John Stover of Franklinton, Cathy and Randy Martin of Stateline; Cousins: April Dawn Warner and Matt Warner and their daughter Addison, Nathan Lee Stover, Josh and Heather Martin and their 3 children, Autumn and Travis McBeth and their 3 children; Also numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Tyrone Calvin Knight, mother Vickie Lynn Kennedy Corroa, sister Tyrona Lynn Knight, grandparents Ollie and Nelson Kennedy, Carlos and Eva Knight, Cathy Jane Corroa and great-grandmother Rebecca Brock Thomas.
Visitation will be at Stateline Missionary Baptist Church Tuesday January 30th from 2 pm until 8 pm and after 9 am on Wednesday. A funeral service will be held in the church at 10 am Wednesday with Eld. Donnie Broom and Rev. Eric Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Seal Cemetery in Stateline.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to help with final expenses.
