Connie Newman Richardson

Connie Newman Richardson, lifelong resident of Bogalusa, LA died Saturday evening at Ochsner Medical Center in Jefferson, LA at the age of 69.
She was survived by her daughter, Monica Knight of Bogalusa, LA; son, Jason (Dawn) Bilbo of Bogalusa, LA; stepson, Bill (Jesse) Richardson of Enon, LA; 9 grandchildren, Nicholas (Cait) Bilbo of Alexandria, VA, Austin Hunt of Bogalusa, LA, Mikaela Bilbo of Poplarville, MS, Katelyn Penndleton of Bogalusa, LA, Madison Penndleton of Bogalusa, LA, Malley Bilbo of Poplarville, MS, Abigail Knight of Bogalusa, LA, Olivia Richardson of Bogalusa, LA, Elijah Bilbo of Bogalusa, LA; aunt, Rose Newman of Bogalusa, LA; uncle, R. C. Newman of Bogalusa. Also survived bu numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 23 years, William "Van" Richardson; parents, Howard and Alverta Newman; brothers, Larry Newman, Leonard Newman, and Richard Newman.
Visitation will be held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 from 10 A.M. until service time. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2 P.M. with Rev. Fred Brumfield officiating. Entombment will follow at the New Hope Cemetery, Crossroads, MS.
