Clifford Eugene Weary
October 21, 1970 - December 14, 2017


I’ve fought the fight and God gave me my crown on December 14, 2017 at 12:46 pm. Clifford or Catdaddy as he was affectionately called was born on October 21, 1970 to the late Willie J. and Georgia Mae Weary and accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age. He was a member of Springhill Missionary Baptist Church where he served as a member of The Board of Trustees until his time of death. He was a graduate of Varnado High C/O ’89 and a graduate of Northshore Technical Community College with an Associate Degree in Building Technologies. He was employed with F.L. Crain and Sons then later employed by Northshore Technical Community College as the Youth Build Carpentry Field Instructor until his time of death.
Clifford was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, mentor, teacher, friend to all that knew him. Clifford never met a stranger and was always willing to help anybody no matter who they were. Everyone knew that his wife, children and grandchildren were his life line and heart of hearts, and grilling for everybody and teaching his students life skills were his driven passion.
Clifford was preceded in death by his parents, his father and mother-n-law Clarence and Melissa Robinson Jr., maternal grandparents Tillis Jefferson and Johnnie Mae Peters, paternal grandparents Frank and Treni Weary, 3 sisters Augustine, Annette, and Leatha, 1 brother Ronald 1 brother-n-law Neil and 2 nephews.
He leaves to cherish his lifetime memories his wife of 17.5 years Juawanna R. Weary, his daughters Ja-Juan (Michael) Packard Sr. Caitlyne M. Robinson, Ke’Von E. Griffin, and Amber L. Myres, his grandsons Michael “MJ”, and Mason (Mason jar) Packard, 1 brother-n-law Edward Thornton Jr., 4 brothers Donald, Roy (Belinda), Troy(Tasha) Weary, Tyrone(Tyeisha) McGowan, sister-n-law Inez Weary 2 sisters Louisa Mingo, Hester Weary, God parents Mitchell Sr. and Myra Magee God brothers Corey, Mitchell Jr.(Latrice), and Dennis Magee God sisters Beverly(Howard)Kelly, Tina McLauren 6 special cousins Kent Spikes, Derrick Lee, Douglas Smith, Alvin Frazier, Daisy and Lorenzo Myres, 3 special friends Dudley Stallings, Charles Lee, Ray Gary Lewis, a host of nieces, nephews, his Youth Build family , family and friends. There’s a saying, “LET THE LIFE I’VE LIVED SPEAK FOR ME”, AND HIS SPOKE VOLUMES.
Visitation will be Friday, December 22, 2017 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Crain and Sons Funeral Home where the Funeral Service is scheduled for Saturday, December 23, 2017 at 1 pm.
