WPSO Arrests Pair for Burglaries in Thomas Communty

The Washington Parish Sheriff's Office has arrested Charles Timothy Martin (39) and Jennifer Leah Massey (34), both parish residents, for residential burglaries in the Thomas community.
The WPSO press release accused Martin of burglarizing residences on Johnny Martin Road and Cleve Kennedy Road, and he is charged with theft of an automobile, burglary of an inhabited dwelling, three counts of theft and three counts of failure to appear in court. Massey is charged with possession of stolen property and being an accessory after the fact to the burglaries.
Martin and Massey had recently returned to Washington Parish after having been incarcerated in Jackson County, Mississippi, for over two months for residential burglaries in Ocean Springs and Vancleave. They had been released after posting bonds but Jackson County Sheriff Mike Ezell indicated that the investigation is continuing and it is possible that more charges could be filed.
The investigation into the Washington Parish residential burglaries is also continuing. Meanwhile, any person who purchased property from Charles Timothy Martin is asked to contact Detective Kody Glenn at 985-839-3434.
