Terry Varnado, Sr.
December 13, 1960 - November 4, 2017
TERRY LAMAR VARNADO, SR., age 56 and a resident of the Stony Point Community, died early Saturday afternoon November 4, 2017 at Lakeview Regional Medical Center. Terry graduated from Franklinton High School in 1979 and later received a degree in electronics from Sullivan Vocational School in 1986. He was a jack-of-all-trades that could repair or build just about anything. He also was very talented at wood working. Terry was a hardworking, simple man that enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
Survived by: Wife: Geraldine “Dee Dee” Breedlove Varnado of Stony Point; 3 Sons and a Daughter in law: Terry Lamar Varnado, Jr. and Ashley Varnado, Nicholas James Varnado, Noah Aiden Varnado all of Stony Point; 3 Daughters and a Son in law: Catherine Antoinette Varnado of Covington, Samantha Dawn Sullivan and Codie Sullivan of Hammond, Elizabeth Grace Varnado of Stony Point; 4 Grandchildren: Gabriel Scott Sullivan, Kayleigh Hope Barthelemy, Brayden Barthelemy, Anna Marie Varnado; Father: Jerry J. Varnado of Stony Point; Brother and Sister in law: Rev. Ray Varnado and Donna Varnado of Thibodaux, LA; Sister and Brother in law: Debbie Dunaway Gill and Dennis Gill of Plainview; Also numerous nieces, nephews and other family members
He was preceded in death by his mother Joy Barlow Varnado and birth father Rayford Dunaway.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Wednesday November 8th from 9 am until 11 am. A funeral service will be held at 11 am Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Ray Varnado officiating. Burial will follow in the Fisher United Methodist Church Cemetery.
