J. T. Stogner
March 29, 1946 - November 5, 2017



JUDSON THEODORE “J. T.” STOGNER, age 71 and a resident of Franklinton, died Sunday night November 5, 2107 at his home. J.T. was a member of Richardson Baptist Church who loved his church family and loved attending services every chance he could. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and the outdoors. J. T. also enjoyed working in his yard and tending his garden. He was always a loving husband, father and grandfather that cherished the time spent with his grandchildren.
Survived by: Wife of 50 years: Annette Givens Stogner of Franklinton; Daughter: Angela Stogner and Justin Nelson of Bush; 3 Grandchildren: Charles Stafford of Poplarville, Cassidy Nelson, Justin Nelson both of Bush; Great-granddaughter: Genesis Stafford; Brother and Sister in law: Terry and Gerri Stogner of Franklinton; Special Friends: Bob and Judy Simmons, James and Christine Freeman; Also numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a daughter Barbara Stogner Stafford, parents Thomas Stogner and Lela Drummond Stogner, brothers Laurence Stogner, Warren Stogner and sister Ada Stogner.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Tuesday November 7th from 5 pm until 9 pm and after 10 am on Wednesday. A funeral service will be held at 2 pm Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jimmy Oalmann, Jr. and Rev. Jeremy Holden officiating. Burial will follow in the Magee Cemetery at Enon.
