Bogalusa Police Arrests Eight on Drug and Gun Charges

Bogalusa Police Department Patrol Officers Bryce Jarreau and Will Seals responded Thursday evening (November 16, 2017) to a complaint about people standing in the road smoking marijuana and holding guns on the corner of St. John Street and Caston Avenue. They found six males standing behind a vehicle with the trunk open. 



The vehicle owner gave Officers consent to search his vehicle and, in the trunk of the vehicle, officers located a Colt ..380 pistol with an obliterated serial number, a Diamondback AR-15 pistol, five individual packaged baggies of suspected marijuana and eight xanax bars. Under the front passenger seat of the vehicle, officers located another pistol.
Officers got a consent to search the residence form the homeowner and inside the residence officers located a quarter pound of suspected Marijuana, scales for packaging and selling narcotics, baggies for packaging narcotics for street sale, liquid THC, other drug paraphernalia and marijuana gleanings scattered throughout the residence.
Quave J. Marshall (18) of Bogalusa, Anthony W. Robinson Jr (20) of Bogalusa, Joseph Crutchfield (19) of Bogalusa, Kevin T. Crutchfield (44) of Bogalusa and Ja'kyren D. Ladner (18) of Bogalusa were arrested on the charges of  Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana, Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule 4 Narcotics, Possession of a Firearm with an Obliterated Serial Number, llegal Carrying of a Weapon while in Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, Contributing to the Delinquency of a Juvenile, and Illegal use of a Controlled Substance in the Presence of a Minor.
Neva A. Stephens (35) of Bogalusa was arrested on the charges of Obstruction of Justice, Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana, Contributing to the Delinquency of a Juvenile, Illegal Use of a Controlled Substance in the Presence of a Minor, and Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule 1 Narcotics.
A 15 year old male juvenile was arrested on the charges of Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana, Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule 4 Narcotics, Possession of a Firearm with an Obliterated Serial Number, Illegal Carrying of a Weapon by a Juvenile, and Illegal Possession of a Handgun by a Juvenile.
A 16 year old male Juvenile was arrested on the charges of Possession of Marijuana and Obstruction of Justice.
