Obituary

Teri Teresa Lyles O'Brien
July 10, 1955 - October 20, 2017



TERI TERESA LYLES O’BRIEN, AGE 62 and a resident of Franklinton, died Friday night October 20, 2017 at her home. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and a longtime equipment operator for A-1 Sand and Gravel. Teri enjoyed watching NASCAR and drag-racing. She also enjoyed horseback riding and spending time with her family. She had a special place in her heart for her pet dog Sugarfoot.
Survived by: Husband: James C. O’Brien, Sr. of Franklinton; 2 Daughters and Sons in law: Michelle and Blaine Badeaux of Boutte, Regina and Roger Barber of Franklinton; 3 Sons and Daughters in law: Jimbo and Jennifer Smith of Mt. Hermon, Joey Dykes, Clay and Rachael O’Brien all of Franklinton; 11 Grandchildren: Mathew Badeaux, Kirsty Barber, Abby Barber, Gabby Roach, Jaylon Barber, Kayden Edwards, Mika Badeaux, Roger Barber, II, Liz O’Brien, Joycelynn Smith, Randall O’Brien; Father: Edwin Lyles of Franklinton; Sister: Peggy Lyles of Franklinton; Special Friend: Chris Berry
She was preceded in death by her mother Doris Compton Lyles.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Monday October 23rd from 5 pm until 9 pm and after 10 am on Tuesday. A funeral service will be held at 2 pm Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Joe Kelly officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
