A Goodbee couple is facing charges after two separate domestic violence incidents, one of which resulted in the man being stabbed multiple times.Early Tuesday morning (October 17, 2017), St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the area of Jones Road off Tantella Ranch Road in Goodbee after neighbors called to report a disturbance.
Responding deputies found Patrick Day (31) of Goodbee suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was located in the woods across from a residence and airlifted to a local hospital. His wounds are not believed to life threatening.
His girlfriend, Kristin Copeland (28) was arrested and booked into the St. Tammany Parish Jail for one count of Aggravated Second Degree Battery.
Upon release from the hospital, Day will be booked into the St. Tammany Parish Jail on warrants for domestic abuse battery/strangulation, criminal damage and aggravated assault with a firearm. These charges stem from an October 7, 2017 domestic violence incident between the couple.
