Another WPSO / DEA Drug Bust in Bogalusa

The Washington Parish Drug Task Force and the DEA have once again combined their resources to make more drug arrests in Bogalusa. On October 5, 2017, officers from both agencies served search warrants at a residence on North Roosevelt Street and a barbershop on Austin Street.
Michael Miller (30), a resident on North Roosevelt, was arrested on the charges of four counts of heroin distribution, two counts of cocaine distribution, possession of marijuana and convicted felon in possession of a firearm, $3,096 cash, one vehicle, two semi-automatic pistols and various illegal drugs were seized at the residence. This is Miller’s fourth stay in the Washington Parish Jail, having previously been booked in May 2007, February 2009, and August 2011 on multiple drug charges and other offenses.  

Also arrested on October 5, was La’Damion Keys (23), a resident of Union Avenue. Keys was arrested at the barber shop and jailed for two counts of possession with intent to distribute schedule 1 drugs, possession with intent to distribute schedule 2 drugs, possession with intent to distribute schedule 3 drugs, and obstruction of justice.
