Search Conducted of Choctaw Motel Room in Bogalusa

On Tuesday (September 5, 2017) at about 12:30 am, Officers from the Bogalusa Police Department and Deputies from the Washington Parish Sheriff's Department executed a search warrant on a room at the Choctaw Motel located on South Columbia Street after receiving information about narcotic sales from that location.
During the search of the motel room, officers located a tin container that contained 18 folded foil bundles of suspected heroin, 2 pieces of crack cocaine, cash, and a digital scale, which is used for packaging and selling drugs.
The occupants of the room were present at the time of the search and were identified as Jesse Drummond (50) of Bogalusa and Gail Gorsuch (48) of Bogalusa.
Drummond and Gorsuch were arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession with intent to distribute heroin, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a drug free zone, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
