Angelica Hope LeRay
August 6, 1997 - August 30, 2017


ANGELICA HOPE LERAY, AGE 20 and a resident of Mt. Hermon passed away Wednesday August 30, 2017. She was a 2015 graduate of Mt. Hermon High School where she enjoyed playing for the Lady Yellow Jacket Basketball Team. Angelica was also a member of the Christian Club at Mt. Hermon. She put God first in her life and loved attending the Bogue Chitto Baptist Church youth services and traveling to youth camps. She enjoyed watching funny movies and bowling, but the most important thing to her was time spent with her family. Angelica was excited about the upcoming birth of her son Xander Reed LeRay, but they will spend eternity together in Heaven, watching over us.

Hermon; Grandparents: Trina Grady of Plaquemine, Albert and Janette Anthony, Cathy and George Brooks all of Kentwood; Great-grandmother: Dora LeRay of Baton Rouge; Aunts and Uncles: Latiche LeRay of Pine, Tania LeRay of Plaquemine, Angela and Adam Miller of Mt. Hermon, Albert Anthony, Jr. of Hammond, Laura and Andy McGuff of Greensburg, Ashley and Nick Bergeron of Kentwood, Lynn Mizell of Franklinton; Father: Ralph Jones, Jr. and his wife Emerlyn of Buras; Grandparents: Ralph and Seleria Jones of Mt. Hermon; Brother: Ralph Jones, III; Sister: Emerald Jones; Great-grandmother: Charlene Jones; Aunt and Uncle: Taleria and Jon Magee of Bolivar; Also numerous cousins and many very special friends.
She was preceded in death by grandfathers Richard LeRay and Bill Grady, great-grandparents James and Eddie Joe Vernon.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Tuesday September 5th from 5 pm until 9 pm and after 10 am on Wednesday. A funeral service will be held at 2 pm Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Randall Garcia and Rev. Calvin Crowe officiating. Burial will follow in the Bogue Chitto Baptist Church Cemetery.
