Wayne Peter Bourgeois
October 10, 1959 - September 24, 2017
Wayne Peter Bourgeois, age 57 and a resident of Franklinton, passed away on September 24, 2017. He was born in New Orleans on October 10, 1959. He graduated from Abramson High School and went on to work at Textron Marine for many years. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He will be greatly missed by all.
Wayne is survived by his mother Janet D. Bourgeois; his wife Connie Bourgeois; his daughter Katherine Bourgeois Hontiveros (Andrew); one granddaughter Gabriella Hontiveros; stepdaughters Lacey St. Romain and April Edwards; grandson Chance Chauvin; his siblings Karen Trapani (Tony), Janice Cobb (David), Raymond Bourgeois, Jr. (Hattie), Cheryl Edwards (Jeff), and Rodney Bourgeois (Robin); and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Raymond Bourgeois, Sr.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial mass on Friday, September 29, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, Louisiana. Visitation will take place prior to the services from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm.
