Donald Wayne Bedwell
August 18, 1945 - September 9, 2017
DONALD WAYNE BEDWELL, age 72 and a resident of Baton Rouge died at 8:25 pm Saturday September 9, 2017 at the AMG Specialty Hospital in Zachary. He was a native of Washington Parish but a longtime resident of Baton Rouge where he was the owner/operator of Glass Unlimited. Donald was a United States Navy veteran of the Vietnam Era and a member of the Lion’s Club. He enjoyed listening to his favorite old country music.
Survived by: Son: Robin Bedwell of Baton Rouge; Daughter: Donna Bedwell Roy of Picayune, MS; 5 Grandchildren: Jhy Bedwell, Colton Talley, Summer Bedwell, Harley Bedwell, Daylin Bedwell; 4 Great-grandchildren: Jhy, Jr., K.K., Autumn, Athena; 3 Sisters and a Brother in law: Geraldine B. Penton, Wanzie B. Talley, Rita and Ronald Mizell all of Bogalusa; Good Friend: David Young; Also numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Latimore Bedwell and Fannie Stogner Bedwell, a brother Warren Bedwell, sisters Aline Gill and Bernice Jones.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 11 am Tuesday September 12th in the Spencer Cemetery near Enon with Rev. Chris Wheeler officiating.
