The Bogalusa Police Department received a call Wednesday (August 30, 2017) around 10 am about several gunshots on Main Street.
A homeowner on Main Street stated that she and her husband observed two black males at their residence and, after confronting them, the two males walked away from the residence. According to witnesses, the two males then fired four or five shots at the husband and the suspects left the scene running. The victim wasn't struck by any of the bullets.
Officers from the Rayburn Correctional Center responded with their tracking dogs to help locate the suspects but the suspects were not located.
As soon as the suspects are identified, warrants will be issued for their arrest. This matter is still under investigation.
