OPAL LAVERA PENTON BRELAND, AGE 81 and a resident of Franklinton died Saturday morning August 5, 2017 at Riverside Medical Center. She was born November 13, 1935 in Picayune, MS but had been a longtime resident of Washington Parish. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial donations to the Help Center of Churches, someone in need or a charity of your choice as this was her mission in life, caring and helping others. An angel on Earth and a true servant of God.
The family would like to thank everyone for the calls, visits, prayers, flowers, food, love and all the support during this very difficult time. You don’t know how much we appreciate each of you.
