Merlin Duke, age 76 and a resident of Bogalusa, passed away on Monday, August 14, 2017 at Lakeview Regional Medical Center in Covington, LA. He was born on Feruary 27, 1941 in Mamou, LA.
He is survived by his wife, Eleanor Duke of Bogalusa, LA; two sons, David Merlin Duke of Bogalusa, LA, and Damon Watson (Nikki Stewart) Duke of Madisonville, LA; and his beloved grandson, Finn Gabriel Duke.
Visitation will be held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 from 5:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. Visitation will continue at Elizabeth Sullivan Memorial United Methodist Church on Thursday, August 17, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 P.M. Funeral Services will begin at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Bill Moon officiating. Interment will be held at a later date.
