Veda Hall Carlisle
June 27, 1925 - August 2, 2017


Veda Hall Carlisle born June 27, 1925 passed away August 2, 2017 in Poplarville, MS at the age of 92. She was born in Bogalusa, LA, and was a longtime resident of Poplarville, MS in the Crossroads Community. She was a faithful and longtime member of Mitchell Chapel Church of God. Veda served families in the surrounding communities during her life working at Movie Star for 35 years in Poplarville, MS and employee of Wal Mart Store for 13 years.
She is survived by three daughters, Sharon Brock of New Mexico, Pam Boutwell of Crossroads, MS, and Mollie (Donald) Williams of Poplarville, MS; eight grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren; also survived by many other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, William Robert Carlisle; her son-in-law, Rev. Donnie Boutwell; her parents, Lee and Mollie Hall; her sister, Sylvia Bracey; her brothers, Toxie Hall, Dwight Hall, Benard Hall, and Kenneth Hall.
Visitation will be held at Mitchell Chapel Church of God on Saturday, August 5, 2017 from 6:00 P.M. until the service time on Sunday, August 6, 2017 at 3:00 P.M. with Rev. Richard Ryals officiating. Interment will follow at Mitchell Chapel Church of God Cemetery.
