Carolyn Magee
May 28, 1951 - August 26, 2017



Carolyn Ann Watterson Magee, age 66 and a native of Bogalusa, gained her wings on August 26, 2017, at Lakeview Regional Medical Center in Covington, LA.
Carolyn was born to the late Ray and Oneida Watterson, on May 28, 1951. She attended Central Memorial High School. In 1969 she graduated from Central Memorial High School, and that was the last class to graduate from there. She worked at the State’s Theater, rest Haven Living Center and Bennie’s. She left a lasting memory with everyone she came in contact with. She will be missed by many.
She was a rock within the family and had a special bond with all of her brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews. Carolyn would give the shirt off her back to anyone in need. She was always laughing, joking, and talking to all. She left a lasting memory on everyone she came in contact with. She will be missed by many. She instilled in her son, daughter and grandkids to always work hard and to stay close to one another, to always support and love each other.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories her son, Gerald ray Watterson of Bogalusa, LA; a niece she reared as a daughter from birth, Komeka (William) Tillman of Bogalusa, LA; sisters, Rosetta ( Will) Tillman, Patricia (Clarence) Abrams, and Renee Peters all of Bogalusa, LA; brothers Richard (Hyneitha) Harris of Baton Rouge, LA, Charles Watterson of Bogalusa, LA, and James Watterson of Vernon, TX; grandchildren, Davion May and Trentarius May of Hammond, LA, Shaniqua (Demarius) Tillman, Damion Tillman and Gregory Johnson all of Bogalusa, LA; great grandchildren, Kiyan Holmes, and Kegan Holmes both of Bogalusa, LA; and a nieces, nephews, host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Oneid Harris Watterson, her father, Ray Watterson, and a brother, Rodney Watterson.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 3 pm at Crain and Sons Funeral H
ome in Bogalusa.
