Teens Arrested in St. Tammany Vehicle Burglaries

Four Hammond teens have been arrested following a string of vehicle burglaries in a Madisonville-area subdivision last week. Detectives with the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office collected video surveillance footage from numerous locations in the Villages at Bocage subdivision after 14 vehicle burglaries were reported July 6.
With the assistance of Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office and Hammond Police detectives, STPSO detectives identified and located Reginald Griffin, Jr. (17) and two juvenile males (ages 14 and 16), all from the Hammond area. Some of the stolen items were located inside a vehicle at the residence where they were staying. Regjae Griffin of Hammond was also arrested for obstruction of justice charges related to the investigation.
The investigation is ongoing and may lead to further arrests. If you have any information about these crimes, please call 985-898-2338.
