The
Bogalusa Police Department received a call Monday afternoon of a possible
marijuana plant being in a window of a residence in the 900 block of Long
Avenue. When Officers arrived, marijuana plants could been seen in plain view
sitting on the window sill. The shift of Capt. Wendell O'Berry made contact with
the homeowner, Jarius Caston (28). Caston was placed under arrest for the
following charges.
1. Cultivation of Marijuana.
2. Possession with intent to Distribute Marijuana.
3. Possession of a firearm with a Controlled Dangerous Substance.
4. 2 counts Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance in the
presence of a child under the age of 17.
