Jerry Robert Gorum, Sr.
December 24, 1948 - April 26, 2017
Jerry Robert Gorum Sr. age 69 passed away on April 26, 2017 at his residence in Bogalusa La. He was a US Navy veteran serving in Vietnam.
He is survived by his wife Joyce Burkett Gorum of Bogalusa, La, three sons, Kenny Douglas Gorum of Bogalusa, Keith Darryl Gorum of Bogalusa, and Jerry Scott Gorum of Loranger La. Two daughters Melody Ann Gorum of Bogalusa and Cassie Marie Gorum of Bogalusa. Two brothers Lamar Gorum of Pickensville Alabama, and Lewis Gorum Hattiesburg Ms. One sister Linda Julian of Demopolis Alabama. Nine grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents Herman and Kate Mitchell Gorum.
Visitation will be held in the chapel of Brown McGehee Funeral Home on Friday April 28, 2017 from 6 p.m. til 9 p.m. Visitation will continue on Saturday from 8 a.m. until time for services in the chapel at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Ponemah Cemetery with military rites conducted by American Legion Post #24.
