Willie Elliott Newsom, Jr., a resident of Kentwood passed away at 4:35 PM on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at his home. He was born March 2, 1966 in Raceland and was 51 years of age.
He is survived by his mother, Judy Corkern Little and step father, Larry; brother, Larry Little, Jr. and wife, Kathleen; sister, Jennifer Vicknair and husband, Anthony; half sisters, Karyn Prevost, Candie Brister, and Michelle Kelley; fiancé, Cee Cee Pittman; nephew, Kale Booty; nieces, Kelsey Kleinpeter and Kymber Booty Alford and her four children and numerous other nieces and nephews, which he loved dearly.
Preceded in death by his father, Willie Newsom, Sr. and his grandparents, Myrtle Mixon Corkern and Willie and Helen Newsom.
Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from  10 AM until religious services at 1 PM Friday, April 28, 2017. Interment Sylvest Cemetery, Amite.
