Tuesday (January 10, 2016) the newly-elected Franklinton Board of Aldermen held their first meeting. They
- heard from applicant for an Alcohol Permit at Stop 2
- received the financial report from Merty Fitzmorris
- heard comments and suggestions from resident Frankie Crosby
- received an update on sewerage and drainage improvements being made
Mayor Dillon and the Aldermen provided comments, especially regarding the need to provide the public with information about resources in and near the town for the use and enjoyment of residents.
